What is the Initiative?
Home Depot and Home Depot RDC are requiring the 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgment) to be sent in response to each 850 (Purchase Order).
What should I do to get started?
Home Depot hosts testing through their Commerce Desk website and will provide vendors access to conduct testing.
If this was communication was not received, please contact Home Depot by opening a ticket with their team.
If you would like to self-test, follow the steps outlined in this article.
To receive guidance from a dedicated Implementation Specialist, contact [email protected]. It is recommended to contact after your team has access to the Home Depot testing portal.
Note: A re-implementation fee would be assessed prior to project creation for dedicated implementation support.
What is the Testing Process?
Compliance testing is through Home Depot’s CommerceDesk portal. Testing is required.
TrueCommerce is coordinating with Home Depot to test vendors in phases. If your company has already been identified to participate, test PO # 8888888888 has already been delivered to your Foundry.
Do Not Ship or fulfill this order. Please note that this was sent with the production flag but is a test order.
First, ensure that the 855 is activated and in Test Mode within the Transaction Setup within Foundry.
The transaction to utilize is the Purchase Order Acknowledgment version 4060.
TrueCommerce recommends that you review the Template as well to hardcode any static information to eliminate as much manual entry as possible.
Next, the 855 can be created using the Turnaround Function from the test Purchase Order (PO# 8888888888). Populate all mandatory fields, save and send.
Upon sending the 855, the raw data must be obtained within Foundry.
Save a copy of the processed, raw data to your local computer. Then, log into the Home Depot portal and upload the file to the 855-testing task.
When the 855 task is completed, the next task in the Home Depot portal is the EDI Partner Profile Setup. EDI information required for the task is below. Note, that the form will ask for contact details. Once the form is submitted, that contact will receive communication from Home Depot on when to start sending the 855 in production.
When testing is completed and your team is moved into production, please update the mode of the 855 to Production.
Can I automate the 855 creation?
If your organization will always accept the Purchase Order from your trading partner and fulfill the order in its entirety, yes, you can automate the 855.
