Winzer Corporation is a leading industrial and automotive Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplier whose EDI implementation requires completing specific setup, testing, and compliance steps before going live.
Understanding these requirements ahead of time helps ensure a smooth and timely implementation. Below you will find the EDI identification details, preliminary steps, portal testing requirements, commonly used transactions, and next steps for establishing your Winzer connection.
EDI IDs
Winzer utilizes the following EDI IDs for identification purposes. These EDI IDs are made up of a Qualifier and an ID which will be sent within their Interchange Control Header, ISA segment, on your inbound transactions. This allows Transaction Manager to be able to identify the Sender and Receiver of any EDI transaction that is sent or received.
The table below lists the most common EDI IDs typically used by Winzer:

Winzer will expect a specific EDI ID based on your business relationship with them. Selecting the wrong EDI ID will result in EDI Transactions not being sent or received.
You will need to work with Winzer to determine the proper EDI ID to use.
Preliminary Steps
Winzer uses a third-party company, SPS Commerce, to conduct compliance testing on their behalf. Be sure to engage with your SPS Commerce Account Representative to ensure your testing agreement has been signed, and you have access to the SPS Commerce Testing & Certification portal.

Select: Dashboard
Select: Winzer from the Active tab on the Dashboard to begin the testing process
Review: Acknowledge the EDI Specifications
Enter: Test setup details include:
Connection Method type - VAN
VAN Name - TrueCommerce
Enter: Test transaction details and test transaction item details
Portal Testing
Winzer requires you to complete compliance testing before Go-Live. Please refer to the below Next Steps section for detailed instructions and expectations. If you prefer, TrueCommerce can conduct and complete compliance testing on your behalf.
In that case, provide the following details to your Implementation Specialist:
URL for the SPS Commerce portal
Username for the SPS Commerce portal
Password for the SPS Commerce portal
