Trading Partner: HDA Truck Pride

HDA Truck Pride is a cooperative distribution network that serves as a Central Pay Invoicing system for 23 of its member trading partners. Rather than invoicing each trading partner individually, vendors submit a single Invoice (810) through HDA Truck Pride, which processes and distributes payment on behalf of its members.
Before Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions can flow between your system and HDA Truck Pride, compliance testing must be completed through SPS Commerce — a third-party EDI compliance testing provider that conducts certification on HDA Truck Pride's behalf. The sections below cover the EDI identification values, preliminary setup steps, and what to expect as you move toward Go-Live.
EDI IDs
HDA Truck Pride utilizes the following Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) IDs for identification purposes. These EDI IDs are made up of a Qualifier and an ID which will be sent within their Interchange Control Header, ISA segment, on your inbound transactions. This allows Transaction Manager to be able to identify the Sender and Receiver of any EDI transaction that is sent or received.

HDA Truck Pride will expect a specific EDI ID based on your business relationship with them. Selecting the wrong EDI ID will result in EDI Transactions not being sent or received.
You will need to work with HDA Truck Pride to determine the proper EDI ID to use.
Preliminary Steps
HDA Truck Pride uses SPS Commerce to conduct compliance testing on their behalf. Be sure to engage with your SPS Commerce Account Representative to ensure your testing agreement has been signed, and you have access to the SPS Commerce Testing & Certification portal.

Login - to the online portal once access is granted
Navigate - to Testing & Certification
Select - Dashboard
Select - HDA Truck Pride (and the Trading Partner that the 810 is for) from the Active tab on the Dashboard to begin the testing process
Review - Acknowledge the EDI Specifications
Enter - Test setup details include:
Connection Method type: VAN
VAN Name: TrueCommerce
Enter - Test transaction details and test transaction item details
Portal Testing
HDA Truck Pride requires you to complete compliance testing before Go-Live. If you prefer, TrueCommerce can conduct and complete compliance testing on your behalf. In that case, provide the following details:
URL for the SPS Commerce portal
Username for the SPS Commerce portal
Password for the SPS Commerce portal

Next Steps
Once the purchase of the HDA Truck Pride plug-in is complete, your Implementation Specialist will reach out to schedule time to complete and/or coordinate a plan for compliance testing and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system integration testing.

Important Information
HDA Truck Pride is used for the Central Pay Invoice. This Trading Partner must be added to the SPS portal, under the Active Tab, on the Dashboard.
