Product: Transaction Manager & Label Utility

The TrueCommerce Label Solution is a tool that helps generate printable Shipping Labels that are often required from your Trading Partner when sending an Advance Ship Notice (856). With this tool - you can easily view, manage, and print those labels straight within Transaction Manager (or optionally; on a dedicated machine within your network).

The TrueCommerce Labeling Utility is a Add-On that will require being purchased prior to being able to utilize it.

You can use the Account Management β†’ Buy Add-Ons option or contact your Account Manager

Setting up Your Labeling Utility

TrueCommerce offers two options to printing your labels - a convenient Web-Based version built straight into Transaction Manager's online platform and an On-Premise version that can be downloaded and installed on a local machine within your company.

You can learn about the differences with the below link

Transaction Manager can only have one solution enabled at a single time - you can switch between them using the option located in Label Setup but are unable to have both operate at the same time

Web-Based

The Web-Based Label Utility is already built within Transaction Manager - once purchased you can easily use the Print β†’ Labels option within your Outbox to print the selected Advance Ship Notices

Configuration of the Web-Based Label Utility is pre-configured by default - however if you were previously using the On-Premise solution you may need to reconfigure Transaction Manager to use it over the On-Premise Solution

On-Premise

If you're planning to use the On-Premise Label Utility you will need to have a dedicated machine that can be accessed from your network so that Transaction Manager can reach it from whichever machine it is currently being used on to pass the label print requests.

Once configured all users utilizing Transaction Manager can easily send Label Prints to the Label Utility installed on that machine.

Next Steps

Note: Labels are printed from the Advance Shipment Notice transaction. Articles about ASNs can be found here.
