Product: Transaction Manager & TrueCommerce Label Utility

Printing your Shipping Labels (sometimes referred to as a UCC-128 Label) is a common procedure that is often required when you begin trading Advance Ship Notices (856) with your Trading Partner.

TrueCommerce provides label-printing solutions to help streamline your process in addition to handling your Advance Ship Notices. With both a built in solution Web Based to the Transaction Manager platform as well as an On-Premise installation that can be installed on a local machine. Both produce a PDF that can easily be saved, emailed, or printed

You will need to purchase the Labeling Solution prior to use

Web-Based Labeling

The Web-Based labeling solution is the recommended option as it is built straight into the Transaction Manager platform allowing for quick and easy access to your label printing regardless of which user is logged in or which machine they're using. The web-based solution works for most customers needs

  • Best for small to moderate Label needs (Less than 1,000 at a time)

  • Built into Transaction Manager - provides labels within the browser

  • Automatically Up-To-Date

  • Labels can be viewed and printed within Transaction Manager

  • Handles Processing on TrueCommerce Servers

The Web-Based Solution will open a new tab in your browser per 100 Labels being printed in order to generate the PDFs - it's recommended to use the On-Premise solution when you need to just print directly in large batches

On-Premise Labeling

The On-Premise labeling solution tends to be the best option for customers that have a high-volume of labels that need printing at a single time. In these cases having a dedicated machine locally to process the labels results in a faster generation of the labels since it is all done on a dedicated machine.

  • Best for large-volume Label needs (1,000+ at a time)

  • Requires Local Machine installation

  • Requires Manual updates

  • Processing handled on local machine

Not Sure Which to Use?

If you're unsure of which option is best for you, we recommend starting with the Web-Based and then switching over to the On-Premise solution if you find your label volumes are not processing efficiently with the Web-based solution

As always, you can easily contact our Support Team for further discussion
