Product: Transaction Manager & Label Utility

The TrueCommerce On-Premise Label Utility will need to have a dedicated local machine within your company that can be accessed by all other machines or a single Scheduler machine up with a Master Integration Service (V2) configuration.

This machine will handle all the processing of your labels sent to it from Transaction Manager and for large-volume print jobs it's recommended to ensure your server has the dedicated processing/RAM to handle the requests.

TrueCommerce does not maintain your server - as such will be limited on troubleshooting environmental errors resulting in Labels not printing

Integration Service

The Integration Service is a locally installed Windows Service that runs in the background in order to send/receive inputs between Transaction Manager and your machine.

This service allows your machine to connect the On-Premise Label Utility with Transaction Manager.

TrueCommerce Recommends utilizing the Advance Integration Service (V2) by configuring it as a single station that all other workstations will connect to for Integrated Activities & Label Printing

Label Utility

The TrueCommerce Label Utility is the locally installed tool that will handle all your generation of the Label Jobs sent over from the Transaction Manager platform.

Downloading the Utility

You can find the installer for the On-Premise Label Utility within the Downloads option within your Account Management panel.

Navigate: Account Management → Downloads

Locate: Installers group

Download: Labeling Utility

Enabling the On-Premise Label Solution

By default Transaction Manager will be set to use the Web-based Labeling solution - to enable the On-Premise option so that it knows to reach out to a locally installed version of the Label Utility you'll need to enable it under the Label Options of your Business System Settings.

Navigate: Business System → (Company) → Company Configuration → Label Setup

Select: On-premise Labeling

Export Directory

An Export Directory is required when utilizing the On-Premise version of the Label Utility since Transaction Manager will need to be able to push the label files

Navigate: Business System → (Company) → Company Configuration → Label Setup

Set: Export Directory Path

This path will need to be accessed from all Workstations that wish to print labels from Transaction Manager with the On-Premise Label Utility

Automatically Launching the Label Utility

If you would like the On-Premise Label Utility to automatically launch after Transaction Manager has sent Labels to its queue - you can easily configure this by enabling the Automatic Launch feature.

You'll just simply need to set the path pointing to where the Label Utility has been installed - specifically to the TrcLabelingUtility.exe

Navigate: Business System → (Company) → Company Configuration → Label Setup

Check: Use Automatic Launch Features

Set: Path to TrclabelingUtility.exe
