Product: Foundry platform

If you want a quick and reliable way to verify the services you are subscribed to on the TrueCommerce Foundry platform, the Alerts Subscriptions page is the best place to start. This page gives you a clear, real-time view of all active alerts tied to your account, and each alert corresponds directly to a subscription or module you are currently using.

Understanding Legacy Subscription Billing

Legacy subscriptions begin billing on the date of sign-off, not on the first of the following month. That means

  • Billing starts the day that the billing terms in the contract specify that billing starts.

  • Invoices are issued at the end of each month.

  • Your first invoice includes prorated charges from the sign-off date through the end of that month.

Example

You signed off on November 15:

  • Your November 30 invoice will include 16 days of service (Nov 15–Nov 30).

  • When your subscription renews for another 12 months next November, you will receive two prorated invoices on November 30:

    • One for the final 14 days of the current subscription

    • One for the first 16 days of the new subscription

Renewal Notifications

Customers receive automated reminders of 90, 60, and 30 days before the renewal date.

Account Suspension or Deactivation

If the account becomes suspended or deactivated at any time during the subscription period, the remaining balance of the subscription term will be invoiced.

Understanding Packaged Subscription Billing

Packaged (PKG) subscriptions follow a different billing schedule:

  • Billing begins on the 1st of the month after sign-off

  • Exceptions apply if the subscription was deferred based on agreed terms

Example

You signed off on November 15:

  • Billing begins on December 1

  • Your first invoice will reflect the full month of December

Checking Your Subscription through the Alerts Subscriptions Page

You can subscribe to receive alert notifications based on certain data results or critical events in TrueCommerce applications. This functionality in Foundry allows you to set up the criteria for event-triggered alerts and determine how you want the notifications to be received: on-screen control, text message, or e-mail.

Alerts are set up and maintained using the Alerts Subscriptions page, which contains tabs for All Alerts (tenant wide alerts), and My Alerts (user specific alerts).

Accessing the Alerts Subscriptions page

1. Click your username on the top right corner of the Foundry user interface.

2. Click Settings.

3. Select Alert Subscriptions to launch the Alert Subscriptions page.

The Alert Subscriptions page displays.

Creating a new Alert Subscription

1. From the Alert Subscriptions Page, select New Subscription on the alerts control bar to launch the New Alert Subscription editor.

The editor walks you through the tabbed General, Filters, Parameters, Content, and Summary panels for defining a new alert subscription.

2. Complete each 'statement' under the General tab to establish how the alert will be delivered to the user, the application in which the alert has been triggered, and the specific event within the application that causes the alert. The remaining panels in the New Alert Subscription editor are based on the fields completed here. Note that General panel details cannot be changed once the alert has been created.

Note: Field options in this panel are cascading, which means that the option you select in one field may change the list of options available in subsequent fields.
