Error: NetSuite Error: Code=INVALID_SAVEDSEARCH We cannot return search columns for summary saved search XXX.
Issue: When attempting to import an Inventory Report or Item Catalog you receive the error: 'NetSuite Error: Code=INVALID_SAVEDSEARCH We cannot return search columns for summary saved search XXX.'
No Error Is Displayed - But Inventory/Catalog Doesn't Import
When importing an Inventory Report or Item Catalog - sometimes after performing your search and selecting Import Transaction Manager screen will flash as it begins to process the request, but then return to the Outbox with no inventory generated.
Sometimes the error is not reported to Transaction Manager properly - Check the Cloud Log for the error instead.
You can find the error typically in the ItemSearchAdvanced Web Service Response
Reason: Summary Type results cannot be used with a Saved Search when importing inventory to generate an Item Catalog (832) or Inventory Inquiry/Report (846)
Solution - Remove Summary Type from Results
Within NetSuite, go to your Reports โ Saved Searches and locate the Saved Search you're utilizing for your Inventory Report/Item Catalog import and remove any Summary Type values within the Results tab.
