Error: Item Fulfillment Error: Sales Order xxx does not contain xxx
Issue: When attempting to export an inbound Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) or Advance Ship Notice (856) you receive the error 'Item Fulfillment Error: Sales Order xxx does not contain xxx'
Reason: The Item being sent from Transaction Manager does not match any item found on the Sales Order being received against within NetSuite
Solution - Confirm Sales Order #
It is possible that the Warehouse may not have the correct Sales Order # marked as the Depositor Order # - you'll want to confirm that the Sales Order is properly matching as Transaction Manager uses that number to lookup the Sales Order within NetSuite to match items against.
Solution - Update your Primary Item Field
If the Item Code listed in your error is not the item code you want to be passing to NetSuite - you can adjust the Primary Item Field within Transaction Manager to tell it which field to pass to NetSuite
Note: Warehouse Shipping Advices (945) are often sent for multiple Trading Partners from a single Warehouse/3PL - be sure your changes won't affect other partners
Solution - Have Warehouse Correct Item Code
If your Warehouse Shipping Advice does not contain your NetSuite Item code you may want to reach out to your Warehouse/Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partner to correct the data and resend the Warehouse Shipping Advice.
Note: Most often the Warehouse sends the Item Code that was originally given to them from your Warehouse Shipping Order (940) - you may want to confirm that they received the proper Item Codes
Solution - Translate Item Code
If your Warehouse Shipping Advice does not contain your NetSuite Item Code you can translate it using the Item Catalog to convert the Item Code sent by your Warehouse to the appropriate NetSuite Item Code.
Navigate: Trading Partners → (Warehouse) → Translations → Item Catalog
