Error: QBO ERROR: Validation Exception was thrown.Details:Transactions with inventory (QOH) products cant be dated earlier than the Inventory Start Date for the product.
Issue: When attempting to export out a Purchase Order (850) from Transaction Manager you receive the following error: 'QBO ERROR: Validation Exception was thrown.Details:Transactions with inventory (QOH) products cant be dated earlier than the Inventory Start Date for the product. '
Reason: An Inventory Item being passed on your Order is marked within QuickBooks Online as having a Starting Value Date that falls after your Purchase Order date
Solution - Correct the Purchase Order Date
If your QuickBooks Online starting inventory date is correct - you will need to have the Purchase Order date adjusted to not be accepted until after the starting date marked within QuickBooks Online.
You cannot modify inbound data from your Trading Partner directly - you will need to adjust the Integration or have your Trading Partner resend with a corrected date
Solution - Adjust Starting Date in QuickBooks Online
If the starting inventory date is incorrect - you will want to adjust this value for each item within QuickBooks Online.
Navigate: Sales → Products & Services
Edit: Inventory Item
Navigate: Inventory Info → Starting Value
Adjust: As Of Date
