Error: The string "xxx" in the field "xxx" is too long.

Issue: Whenever attempting to export out an inbound Purchase Order from a Trading Partner you receive the error message indicating "The string "xxx" in the field "xxx" is too long."

Reason:

Intuit QuickBooks only allows a certain number of characters per field - the value being passed is too long.

You'll need to have the offending data truncated in order to push it to your Intuit QuickBooks system.

Note: TrueCommerce does not have any control over the field lengths - this is determined by Intuit QuickBooks and is not modifiable from the TrueCommerce side.
