Error: [ERROR] Inventory Cross-Reference not found, possible Item Number(s) are

Issue: Whenever trying to import a Sales Order into Dynamics GP's SOP Module, you receive the error message Inventory Cross-Reference not found, possible Item Number(s): which then proceeds to list various item numbers.

The Quick Fix: You'll need to enter your the new items into your Inventory Cross-Reference within Dynamics GP for the system to properly convert the items into your product code by selecting your Item Number for Dynamics GP (use the magnifying glass with the + inside it) and filling out the Customer Item Number with any of the values listed in the error message. The other fields are optional - but are useful for configuration and use in outbound data
