In the process of adding a new Trading Partner? Make sure you're business ready with this checklist!

Congratulations on setting up a new Trading Partner or business connection! To ensure you are ready to go, complete the steps included in this checklist:

1. Setup your Partner List (for business system Integrated customers only)

The Partner List associates the Trading Partner in Transaction Manager with the Customer ID or IDs within your business system.

2. Establish the Primary Item Value under Transaction Setup

The Primary Item Value is a unique value being sent on incoming transactions from your Trading Partner.

3. Set up your Item Catalog

This will include all items and cross references (item translation) from your Business System to TrueCommerce.

4. Establish Import Document Type (for business system Integrated customers only)

5. Learn how to Template static fields

6. Learn how to perform a Turnaround to create a transaction

7. How to set the UCC-128 Autocreate

The UCC-128 field is needed for ASNs.

8. Changing transactions from Test to Production

Once the required transactions are tested and approved, you can switch your transactions from Test mode to Production.
