A Functional Acknowledgement (997) is sent automatically once a transaction is received. Any 997s sent to your Trading Partners (or 3PLs) should be in your Sent folder.

On occasion your Trading Partner might ask for the 997 to be sent again. This can be done within the Transactions section of Transaction Manager.

Locate the transaction you received from your Trading Partner.

Click on the transaction to highlight it.

In the Action Bar, click Actions, and select Recreate Acknowledgement.

For step-by-step guidance, click on the Help (?) icon in Foundry, select Guided Tutorials and search for "Resend Outgoing Functional Acknowledgement (997)".

Is your Trading Partner asking about 997s for transactions they sent? You can resend them within Transaction Manager.
