A Functional Acknowledgement (997) is sent automatically once a transaction is received. Any 997s sent to your Trading Partners (or 3PLs) should be in your Sent folder.
On occasion your trading partner might ask for the 997 to be sent again. This can be done within the Transactions workspace in Transaction Manager.
Select (highlight) the transaction you received from your trading partner, and then select Actions > Recreate Acknowledgement on the action bar.
