When using the LTL module within Pack & Ship, the bill of lading report is something that is typically desired when shipping with LTL (less than truckload) or TL (truck load) services.

Bill of Lading Example:

There is certain information that must be entered into a Pack & Ship shipment in order to show on the bill of lading report*:

  • Commodity Class

  • Commodity Class Description

  • NMFC #

  • Trailer Number

  • Seal Number

  • PRO Number

  • Payment Terms

*Your specific bill of lading requirements may vary

Many of these fields can be automatically populated onto a shipment using logical Rules configured within Pack & Ship. This guide shows where these fields are located for review.

Shipment (header) fields

  • Trailer Number

  • PRO Number

  • Payment Terms

Per package fields:

  • Commodity Class

  • Commodity Class Description

  • NMFC #
