Transaction Manager integrates directly with Sage 100 2026 through a locally installed Integration Service that bridges your Sage 100 data with the TrueCommerce Foundry platform. Whether you are performing a fresh installation or upgrading from a previous version of Sage 100, the steps below will walk you through the full setup process.
The Integration Service must be installed on the Sage 100 server. If your users perform flat file imports and need to manually select files, the Integration Service must also be installed on each client workstation. SQL-based versions of Sage 100 are supported.
⚠️ This guide is ONLY for Sage 100 2026. If you are installing a different version of Sage 100, contact TrueCommerce Support for the correct installation guide before proceeding.
Sage 100 2026 is 64-bit only. The Integration Service must be configured to use the 64-bit connection. Steps for this are included below.
System Requirements & Prerequisites
Before beginning the installation, confirm that all of the following prerequisites are in place:
Sage 100 2026 has been installed on the server.
If upgrading, your Sage reseller has already run the Sage migration tool from your previous version.
If using workstations for flat file imports, the Sage 100 2026 workstation has been installed on each client machine.
If you plan to send Advance Ship Notices (ASNs) to Trading Partners using Transaction Manager, confirm the TrueCommerce Custom Office file has been installed in Sage 100 — this adds a TrueCommerce tab to Customer Maintenance, Sales Order Entry, Shipping Data Entry, and Invoice Data Entry in Sage 100.
Integration Service Installation
The TrueCommerce Transaction Manager Integration Service must be installed on the Sage 100 server and on any client machines that will be performing flat file imports.
Downloading the Integration Service
Navigate: Transaction Manager → Integration Settings (from the Navigation menu)
Select: Download Integration Service link
Save: The file locally to the machine
Right-click: The downloaded file
Select: Run as Administrator
Running the InstallShield Wizard
Select: Next on the Transaction Manager Integration Service – InstallShield Wizard to begin
Enter: A user name and organization
Select: Next
Select: Complete (setup type radio button)
Select: Next
Select: Install once the Integration Service is ready
Select: Yes if prompted to allow the program to install
A progress bar will display the installation status. Allow the process to complete before proceeding.
Installing the Sage 100 Integration Components
The Sage 100 integration components must be installed on the server as local administrator. If client machines perform flat file imports, the workstation installer must also be run on each of those machines.
Server Installation
Download: Setup.exe and TC.Sage100.Installer.msi to the Sage 100 server
If TrueCommerce has provided you a direct download link, you do not need to download separately from the URL above.
Find: The file named TCSage100Installer.msi in the folder where you downloaded the Sage 100 2026 installation files
Double-click: TCSage100Installer.msi as local administrator
Select: Next on the installer welcome screen
Browse: To the local path where Sage 100 is installed on the server
You must click Browse and locate the correct path to your Sage MAS90 folder. The pre-loaded default path is not always correct — do not proceed without confirming the correct path.
Select: Everyone
Select: Next
Select: Next on the Confirm Installation screen
The installer will display a progress bar and then configure the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) for ProvideX connections. This step may take a few moments.
Allow: The installation to complete fully before proceeding.
For client machines performing flat file imports, download TC.Sage100.Installer.Workstation.msi from the URL above and run it as local administrator on each workstation. Enter the local path and the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path for the server when prompted.
If flat file imports are NOT being used, you only need to install on the server. Each client machine will use the Integration Service from the server via their Foundry session.
Configuring 64-bit Mode & Terminal Server Mode
Sage 100 2026 is 64-bit only. After the installation, you must configure the Integration Service to use the 64-bit connection and enable Terminal Server mode so that all users can access the Integration Service from the server.
Navigate: Windows → Services (as local administrator)
Locate: Transaction Manager Integration Service
Right-click: Transaction Manager Integration Service
Select: Stop
If the Stop option is greyed out, you are not logged in as local administrator. Contact your IT team to obtain the required permissions before proceeding.
Navigate: To the TrueCommerce folder where the Integration Service is installed
Default path: C:\Program Files (x86)\True Commerce\TmoIntegrationServiceV2
Right-click: TmoIntegrationServices.exe
Select: Open With → Notepad
In Notepad, locate the following two lines and update their values:
Locate: <add key="Prefer64Bit" value="False" />
Change: "False" to "True"
Locate: <add key="TerminalServer" value="False" />
Change: "False" to "True"
Save: The file
Both values must be set to "True" for Sage 100 2026. Setting only one will result in connection failures.
Configuring the 64-bit ODBC Connection (ProvideX Only)
If your version of Sage 100 uses a ProvideX connection, you must remove the 32-bit Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) data source and replace it with a 64-bit connection. If you are using a SQL connection, skip this section.
Remove the 32-bit ODBC Connection
Navigate: Windows Search → type "ODBC"
Select: ODBC Data Sources (32-bit)
Select: System DSN tab
Locate: TcSOTAMAS90
Select: Remove
Select: Apply → OK
Add the 64-bit ODBC Connection
Navigate: Windows Search → type "ODBC"
Select: ODBC Data Sources (64-bit)
Select: System DSN tab
Select: Add
Select: MAS 90 4.0 ODBC Driver
Select: Finish
A new window titled "ProvideX ODBC Driver Setup" will open:
Enter: TcSOTAMAS90 in the Data Source Name field
Enter: The Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path to the Sage MAS90 folder on the server in the Database Directory field (if on the server itself, the local path may be used)
Select: Apply → OK
Restarting the Integration Service
Once all configuration changes are saved, restart the Integration Service to apply them.
Navigate: Windows → Services
Right-click: Transaction Manager Integration Service
Select: Start
Registering the Integration Service ID
After starting the Integration Service, locate the Integration Service icon in the Windows system tray.
Right-click: The Integration Service icon in the system tray
Select: Enable Scheduler Support
Double-click: The Integration Service icon
Copy: The Integration Service ID displayed in the window
Each Foundry user must complete the Integration Service ID registration step below individually using their own login.
Navigate: TrueCommerce Foundry → Transaction Manager → Integration Settings
Select: Integration Settings (a new window will load)
Select: Option 2
Paste: The Integration Service ID into the designated field
Select: Save (blue action bar at the top)
Configuring Business System Settings
Navigate: Foundry → Menu → Business System
Select: (Your Company Name)
Select: Company Configuration (blue action bar at the top) → Integration Options
Enter: Path to MAS 90/200 (local installation path to your Sage 100 MAS90 folder)
Enter: Company Code (your 3-digit Sage 100 company code)
Enter: Sage User Logon
Enter: Sage User Password
Select: Save (blue action bar at the top)
You should now be able to process documents. If you receive any errors, please reach out to TrueCommerce Support for further assistance.
If you are using a SQL-based version of Sage 100, you must also fill in the SQL Server Setup section on the same Integration Options screen. Enter the Server, User, and Password (TrueCommerce recommends using the "sa" username to prevent permission issues). If you are unsure whether your Sage 100 installation is ProvideX or SQL-based, consult your Sage reseller.
Sage 100 Custom Office File Installation
The Custom Office file provided by TrueCommerce adds a TrueCommerce tab to Customer Maintenance, Sales Order Entry, Shipping Data Entry, and Invoice Data Entry within Sage 100. This tab contains user-defined fields and settings required for the integration with Transaction Manager.
This installation only needs to be performed once on the server. Ensure all users are completely logged out of Sage 100 before proceeding. Failure to do so may result in incomplete installation or data conflicts.
Log in: To Sage 100 as administrator
Navigate: Custom Office module → Utilities → Customize Import Wizard
Select: Next on the Customizer Import Wizard dialog box
Select: Browse icon to navigate to the Transaction Manager MAS 90/200 directory
Navigate: C:\Program Files (x86)\True Commerce\TmoIntegrationService\Sage 100 ERP
Select: The appropriate TC_494Customizer_Framework_450.M4X file for your version of Sage 100
Select: Open
Ensure you select the .M4X file that matches your specific version of Sage 100. Using an incorrect file version may cause conflicts.
Select: Next after the Import File Selection window displays the contents of the Customizer file
Select: The companies to apply the TrueCommerce customizations to
Select: Next
If there are no customizations to the Sage 100 Company, you can continue installing the modifications.
If existing Sage 100 customizations conflict with TrueCommerce modifications, you will be prompted to resolve those conflicts. Do NOT overwrite conflicts without first consulting your Sage reseller — doing so may result in loss of your existing customizations.
Select: Next
Select: Finish on the Customizer Import confirmation dialog to install the TrueCommerce customizations
A progress bar will display while the installation completes.
Navigate: Utilities → Update Custom Panels to Current Level when the installation completes
Apply: Changes to all companies that will integrate with TrueCommerce
Select: OK
Verifying User Role Permissions
After the Custom Office installation is complete, verify that all Sage 100 user roles assigned to Transaction Manager users have the appropriate module permissions.
Navigate: Sage 100 → Role Maintenance (as administrator)
Verify: Users have access to the following modules at minimum:
Accounts Receivable
Common Information
Custom Office
Inventory Maintenance
Sales Order
