Product: Foundry platform
If you need to change the email address where you currently receive invoices in the TrueCommerce Foundry platform, the process is quick and simple. Updating this information ensures your billing communications are sent to the correct recipient and prevents delays in payment or account management.
Why do you need to update the email address?
Ensure you receive timely notifications: You need to receive important, secure billing information from the sender. If the email address is incorrect, you may sometimes miss notifications about payments, due dates, or account updates.
Avoid payment issues: If the recipient's email address is incorrect, they may not receive the invoice, which can lead to non-payment and affect the company's liquidity.
Prevent fraud: It is crucial to ensure the email address is legitimate to avoid invoice fraud. Attackers sometimes impersonate legitimate vendors to trick you into paying fake invoices. Keeping your billing information up-to-date helps to ensure that you receive invoices from the correct source.
Maintain account security: For services like Google, verifying and updating your billing email address is a security step to protect your financial information and ensure only authorized individuals have access to it.
