Product: Transaction Manager & Scheduler
Article Link:
Whenever Scheduler activates a Scheduled Event it will begin an Asynchronous Process that will run in the background until completion or a timeout (two hours) occurs. During this time the process will lock the transactions as well as lock your Import/Export operations - preventing anyone from accessing those Transactions or manually importing/exporting during this time
Scheduled (Asynchronous) Events have a 2-hour Timeout Window
If you need to cancel a Scheduled Event in order to regain those functionalities, you can cancel your events within the Asynchronous Events screen to free those processes back up.
Cancelling The Event
Navigate: System Activity โ Asynchronous Events
Check: The 'Cancelled' box on the Running Event
Select: Save
Note: Large Events with many transactions may take a few minutes to release all the locks and stop the process
The Transaction that is currently being processed will need to complete before the event can cancel and release. As such if a single-large transaction is processing during the cancel event it may take time for it to complete the process before releasing
