Error: Overship Item found: XXX, Id: X, Estimate Qty: X, EDI Qty: X. Please check it!
Issue: When exporting an inbound Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) from your Inbox you receive the following error: 'Overship Item found: XXX, Id: X, Estimate Qty: X, EDI Qty: X. Please check it!'
Reason: The Item sent from your Warehouse Shipping Advice has more quantity being passed than the matched item within your Quickbooks Online requested resulting in an Overshipping.
Solution - Correct Quantity
If you do not wish to over ship your Items you will need to have the Warehouse/Third-Party Logistics (3PL) correct the Quantity Shipped and resend the Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) with the corrected quantity.
Solution - Confirm the Line #
If you have multiple Lines within your Estimate that contain the same Item Code you may need to adjust the Line # on the Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) to confirm that you're passing the correct quantity to the correct line for that item code.
Solution - Enable Overshipping
If you would like to enable the ability for Transaction Manager to fulfill an Estimate even when the Warehouse/3PL has shipped more than the ordered quantity you can do so by enabling the Allow Overship option.
Navigate: Business System → (Company) → Company Configuration → Integration Options
Enable: Allow Overship
Overshipping can be configured globally or at a Warehouse-specific level.
