Product: QuickBooks Online

Whenever a Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) ships more of a particular Item's Quantity than was ordered this is considered Overshipping.

By default Transaction Manager does not allow overshipping of items and will error out - if you wish to enable Overshipping however you can do so using the Allow Overship option.

Enabling Overshipping

Navigate: Business System → (Company) → Company Configuration → Integration Options

Check: Allow Overship

Warehouse Specific Settings

If you would like to enable/disable Overshipping for only a specific Warehouse/Third-Party Logistics (3PL) you can do so by configuring the Trading Partner integration preferences.

Navigate: Trading Partners → (Warehouse) → Preferences → Integration

Set: Integration Type to Warehouse shipping Advice (Export)

Enable: Use Partner Level Settings

Enable: Allow Overship

Note: When enabling 'Use Partner Level Settings' this will enable all settings overriding the Global Settings. Be sure to mimic any Global Settings for this Transaction type for any setting you do not wish to have changed
