Product: Transaction Manager & Scheduler

If you're utilizing a local-based Business System Integration or Flat-File Integration along with Transaction Manager's Scheduler you will most likely have one of your Workstations or Servers specified as the Scheduler Machine in order to create the bridge between your Business System/Network and Transaction Manager so that the Scheduler system can independently Import and Export your documents or files.

This machine is responsible for keeping track of the Scheduled Events and their timing - as well as being the machine that provides the connection to your systems to allow for data flow. So if there's a problem you'll want to make sure that this machine is operating as expected.

Identifying the Scheduler Machine

In order to identify which of your Workstations is controlling Scheduler you will need to log into Transaction Manager and view the Active Scheduler Machine under the Scheduler settings to see which machine is currently linked to Scheduler.

Navigate: Administration โ†’ Scheduler

Find: Active Scheduler Machine

The Active Scheduler Machine entry will indicate the Computer Name of the Workstation/Server that the Integration Service was installed and marked as Scheduler Machine under.

In this example: USLPWWSMPA01 is the Machine Name

Finding your Scheduler Machine

Once the Machine Name has been identified within Transaction Manager you'll need to work with your I.T Department to determine which Workstation that is as TrueCommerce will be unable to determine that.

However - you can check your own Workstation easily by Viewing Your PC Name locally. For most systems you can simply type in "PC Name" in the Windows Search bar
