The Sage 100 Integration from TrueCommerce bridges the gap between your Sage 100 accounting system and the Transaction Manager EDI translator. By providing a direct-connection through the use of our Framework system Transaction Manager is able to both create, and read data from Sage 100 to be used to manage EDI transactions with your Trading Partners.
Core Capabilities
Sales Order Process
The Sales Order Process utilizes Sage 100's Account Receivable and Sales Order modules to create Sales Order Entries from inbound Purchase Orders (850) received by your Trading Partner and read your Invoice Data Entries, and Shipping Data Entries to generate Invoices (810) and Advance Ship Notices (856) to be sent back in return.
Purchase Order Process
The Purchase Order Process utilizes Sage 100's Accounts Payable and Purchase Order modules to generate outbound Purchase Orders (850) to be sent to your Vendors using a Purchase Order Entry to initiate purchases - with the ability to process inbound Invoices (810) in return to automatically generate Receipt of Invoices.
Warehousing Process
The Warehousing Process adds the ability to pass orders from your Sales Order Process system by generating a Warehouse Shipping Order (940) to be sent to your Warehouse or 3PL via EDI and automatically create an Invoice Data Entry and a Shipping Data Entry upon receiving a Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) in return from your Warehouse pulling the package and shipping information directly from it.
Inventory Reporting
The Inventory Reporting portion of the TrueCommerce Integration allows Transaction Manager to generate Inventory Inquiry/Report (846) by directly reading your Item Maintenance information and generating a report of quantity availability to be sent to your Trading Partner automatically without the need to manually fill out this information.
TrueCommerce Module
A TrueCommerce Module to be installed into Sage 100 is included in the integration - expanding Sage 100's default functionality with additional EDI specific fields, tables, and module abilities to streamline EDI trading.
EDI Based Fields
The TrueCommerce Module will add EDI specific fields straight into your Sage 100 system that give Transactions (such as Sales Order Entries, Invoice Entries, and Shipping Data Entries) the ability to track additional EDI information such as Store Numbers, DC Codes, Transportation Methods, and ASN Types. Item fields regarding PO Line Numbers, and Alt. Item Codes, and free-form user-defined fields (UDFs).
Advance Ship Notice
Adds the ability to generate Advance Ship Notice (856) data from your Shipping Data Entries by providing additional functionality specifically for generating various ASN Types such as No Pack (SOI), Pick and Pack (SOPI), and Standard (SOIP) formats used by Trading Partners with EDI.
Auto-Packing / Package Templates
Advance functionality to configure Package Templates that can be used to quickly use different packaging setups based on Trading Partner requirements and Item packing information to easily generate packaging details for an Advance Ship Notice utilizing the Auto-Pack system based on item details and quantity being shipped
Connection Info
Connecting your Sage 100 Server and its Client Workstations is an easy straight-forward setup requiring only a single service from Transaction Manager, a small Sage 100 module add-on, and a proper connection to Transaction Manager.
Integration Service
The Integration Service runs on any client that needs to pass data to Sage 100 from Transaction Manager - this background Windows Service runs quietly in the background passing data between Sage 100 and Transaction Manager.
Dynamic Link Library (DLL)
Installed with the Integration Service - a provided DLL allows a direct connection to your Sage 100 system with the added functionality to interact with Transaction Manager providing various functionalities and features to be used with your EDI connections.
TrueCommerce Module
A light-weight simple module is added to add EDI fields, and Advance Ship Notice functionality that are not native to the Sage 100 application to provide extended use.
Sage 100 - Standard (ProvideX)
If you're using the Standard version of Sage 100 our system leverages Sage's ProvideX platform and your local machines ODBC connection info to pass data securely between Sage 100 and Transaction Manager.
Sage 100 - Premium (SQL)
If utilizing the Premium version of Sage 100 - Transaction Manager will utilize a SQL connection through a SQL User setup to pass its data to/from the database.
