Product: Integrations

Any Integrated Solution with Transaction Manager be it a Flat File or a a Framework Connection comes with the added benefit of Default Tables that act as custom configuration or default values that can be paired with custom Integration Logic.

Each Integration comes with its own unique collection of Defaults built custom to either your Business Process or your Business System

Default Tables only work for Transactions that are processed through an Integrated Connection.

Transactions that are Turned Around will not be able to leverage Defaults

Defaults

A Default Table is an editable configuration box that allows for static values to be entered for common information that does not change - things such as the associated Warehouses, Account #s, Branding, or custom integration settings.

Each Default is created as an editable field that allows you to set a value that is applied across multiple transactions, or perhaps wish to turn on special logic for one Trading Partner while leaving off for another.

The Default screen contains a Default Name, Description, and a Value column. The Default Name is the identifying name for that Default Table, while the Value column is an editable field that allows you to modify the static value.

Static Values

Defaults often act as Static Values or settings are Defaults that write a specific value that does not change. These can be used to do things such as simply template a value, or mark a setting in the integrations.

Toggleable Settings

Sometimes a Default Table may be configured to allow you to turn on/off a particular Integration Logic - for example enabling Drop Shipping. These may require you to enter a specific value. If this is the case then the Description field will often give you the exact value you need to enter.

Note: Defaults are often case-sensitive. Be sure to enter the value exactly as described

Trading Partner Level

Most defaults will be configured at the Trading Partner Level which will result in settings being applied per-Partner allowing for each Trading Partner to have unique settings.

Company Level Defaults

Some Defaults may be applied across all Trading Partners and will be applied at a Company level. These can be found within your Business System settings.
