All communications within the X12 EDI system with your Trading Partner are done with what is known as a Transaction. Each Transaction represents a particular link in the overall chain that provides critical information.

Within the Transaction Manager platform each of these Transactions are given one or more Trading Partner Maps that correspond to the particular Transaction Type (Purchase Order, Advance Ship Notice, Invoice, etc.) that contains specific information about that step in the process whether it is Order, Billing, or Shipping Information.

Transaction Manager utilizes Forms as a way to provide users with a clean interactive way of viewing and modifying X12 EDI Transactions without needing to know traditional Raw EDI as the system will automatically translate the X12 data between the Form and the Raw EDI.

Within the Transaction Form are Fields that represent each X12 EDI Element displayed in a human-readable format allowing users to easily view and modify values without worrying about breaking the require X12 structure.

At the top of each Transaction Form is a row of Tabs that group your data that is customized based on the Transaction Type and the Trading Partner Specifications that were provided for this particular Transaction.
