TrueCommerce comes with 10 User-Defined Fields (UDFs) at the header, and 10 Line Level User-Defined Fields labeled TC UDF1 - TC UDF10 along with some additional TC Date fields (TC Date1 - TCDate5) that are available to be used for pushing or pulling custom data between Dynamics 365 Business Central and Transaction Manager.
You can provide labels for these across the company utilizing the TrueCommerce User Defined Field Caption Setup (TC UDF Caption Setup) configuration window.
Navigation
Navigate: TrueCommerce → TC UDF Caption Setup
The TC UDF Caption Setup only shows up if you have proper admin rights added to your user which grants access to changing settings
Adding Labels
Within the TC UDF Caption Setup you can enter the Field Text to label any of the defined TrueCommerce EDI Fields as desired based on the Document Type.
Open: TC UDF Caption Setup
Location: Desired TC UDF
Enter: Desired label into Field Text
Results
Once the Field Text are set, the desired User-Defined Fields will have their generic names replaced with the custom Field Text name.
