Ulta Mexico is a leading beauty retailer operating within Mexico that exchanges order and fulfillment data through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) — a standardized method for electronically transmitting business documents. When adding Ulta Mexico to your EDI network, there are specific connection requirements, testing steps, and transaction types that must be completed before your integration can go live.
TrueCommerce manages the technical setup of Ulta Mexico within Transaction Manager on your behalf. To get started, you will need to confirm the appropriate EDI identifiers with Ulta Mexico directly and complete a compliance testing phase through the OpenText testing portal before transactions can begin flowing between your systems.
EDI IDs
Ulta Mexico utilizes the following Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) IDs for identification purposes. These EDI IDs are made up of a Qualifier and an ID, which are transmitted within the Interchange Control Header (ISA) segment on all inbound transactions. The ISA segment acts as the outermost "envelope" of an EDI file and is used by Transaction Manager to identify who sent the transaction and who it is intended for.
The table below lists the most common EDI IDs typically used by Ulta Mexico:

Ulta Mexico will expect a specific EDI ID based on your business relationship with them. Selecting the wrong EDI ID will result in EDI Transactions not being sent or received.
You will need to work with Ulta Mexico to determine the proper EDI ID to use.
Preliminary Steps
Before TrueCommerce is able to begin onboarding Ulta Mexico into Transaction Manager, you will need to perform the following actions to kick off your Trading Partner Implementation Project:
Ulta Mexico requires testing to be conducted through the OpenText testing portal.
Email the Ulta Mexico team at [email protected] for assistance with obtaining access to the testing portal.
TrueCommerce will collaborate with your team to obtain any company-specific details that are needed for this phase of the implementation.
Portal Testing
Ulta Mexico requires you to complete compliance testing before Go-Live. Please refer to the Next Steps section below for detailed instructions and expectations. If you prefer, TrueCommerce can conduct and complete compliance testing on your behalf.
In that case, provide the following details:

Username for the OpenText testing portal
Password for the OpenText testing portal
