Systemax is a Trading Partner within the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) network that operates across multiple technology and industrial product brands. When adding Systemax as a new Trading Partner, you will need to confirm the EDI requirements, complete preliminary steps, and coordinate compliance testing before going live.
The following article outlines the EDI IDs used by Systemax, the steps needed to kick off your Trading Partner Implementation Project, and the commonly used transaction types supported in this integration.
EDI IDs
Systemax utilizes the following EDI IDs for identification purposes. These EDI IDs are made up of a Qualifier and an ID which will be sent within their Interchange Control Header, ISA segment, on your inbound transactions. This allows Transaction Manager to be able to identify the Sender and Receiver of any EDI sent/received transaction.
The table, below, lists the most common EDI IDs used by Systemax.
X12 Qualifier | EDI ID | Primary ID? |
01 | 176893394GEIS | Yes |
01 | 176893394TEST | No |
Systemax will expect a specific EDI ID based on your business relationship with them. Selecting the wrong EDI ID will result in EDI Transactions not being sent or received.
You will need to work with Systemax to determine the proper EDI ID to use.
