If you are looking to implement Wayfair API as a connection within your EDI network, this article will provide you with an understanding of the requirements, preliminary and next steps, as well as commonly used transaction types.


EDI IDs

Wayfair API utilizes the following IDs for identification purposes. This ID will be sent in the header level of the XML data. This allows Transaction Manager to be able to identify the Sender and Receiver of any XML transaction that is sent or received.

Preliminary Steps

In order to integrate the marketplace connection, the API Keys will need to be generated by following these steps:

2. On the User Management page, grant your Account access to Wayfair’s API Tools including Access Permissions.

3. Click the Save button.

4. Create the Application

To create the application, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Application Management page on the client portal on the Wayfair account.

  1. Click the +New Application button.

5. Create one for Sandbox, then click Save.

6. Create one for Production, then click Save.

7. Send the Client ID and Client Secret for both Sandbox and Production to your assigned TrueCommerce Implementation Specialist.


Direct Trading Partner Testing

Your assigned Implementation Specialist will coordinate with your team to ensure that we connect your Foundry to your Wayfair marketplace site, in order to receive orders and send outbound transactions within Foundry to update your marketplace order status (as applicable).
