The TrueCommerce Addon for SAP Business One adds EDI functionality into your system - providing EDI specific User-Defined Fields as well as Advance Ship Notice (856) support through the use of Packaging options and structure details.

The installation of the TrueCommerce Addon is done through the Systems Landscape Directory under the Extension Management section allowing it to auto-deploy to client machines as needed.

Installation requires the License Manager User (B1SiteUser ) Credentials

Creating the TrueCommerce Tables

The TrueCommerce Addon for SAP Business One utilizes a series of custom tables to hold EDI specific data in relations to your documents. After installing the TrueCommerce Addon you will need to ensure these tables get created in order for the module to function properly.

Creating the TrueCommerce Tables will overwrite all existing TrueCommerce user-defined fields which cannot be undone

This process typically takes between 10 to 30 minutes - no users can access the Company during this time

Launch: SAP Business One

Navigate: TrueCommerce → Create TrueCommerce Tables

Select: OK

Table Creation Status/Progress

You can view the progress of the TrueCommerce Table Creation process by opening the System Messages Log. You will see progress of the tables being created within this log as they update.

Navigate: Window → System Messages Log

Completion Status

You can safely assume the process has been completed when you see messages stating that the All the UDFS and UDTs were added successfully.

A message of 'Writing default request timeout' is normally the last message received and does not indicate any failure.

Prompt

As the tables are being created - your system may popup with a notification stating that the database structure has been modified - you will need to select 'Yes' to continue the creation of the tables.

This popup may appear more than once throughout the creation process
