In order for Transaction Manager and NetSuite to link your Trading Partner (Transaction Manager) with your Customer (NetSuite) so they know which EDI connection pairs with what customer record you'll need to configure the Partner Setup within Transaction Manager.


NetSuite - Internal ID


The TrueCommerce Transaction Manager integration uses the NetSuite Internal ID to link your Customer within NetSuite to your Trading Partner within Transaction Manager. You'll need to know the internal ID for the Customer you would like to link.

Finding Internal ID - List View


You can find the internal ID within your Customer List using the Internal ID Column.

Navigate: Lists → Relationships → Customers

Copy: INTERNAL ID

Finding the Internal ID - Customer Record

If you're within a specific Customer Record you can pull the internal id from your browser's URL by looking for the ?id=xxxx format.


Transaction Manager - Assigning Partner ID


Transaction Manager links your Customer from NetSuite by assigning its Internal ID into your Partner Setup under your Trading Partner settings.

Partner Sync


You can use the Sync option to automatically pull the Internal ID from your Customer record by searching for it within Transaction Manager.

Navigate: Trading Partners → (Partner) → Translations → Partner List

Select: Sync

Enter: Customer Name

Select: Magnifying Glass to Search

Select: Internal ID from List

Select: Sync Selected Business System Partners

Manually Adding


If you would prefer to manually add the Internal ID to your Partner List - you can do so by using the Add Partner button.

Navigate: Trading Partners → (Partner) → Translations → Partner List

Select: Add Partner

Enter: Internal ID from NetSuite.
