In order for TrueCommerce Support to assist with issues pertaining to the integration mapping of values for both Import and Export with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, you need to supply both the Log file and XQuery for the Import/Export you are working on.

To obtain this log, perform the following steps within Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations:

  1. Select Modules > EDI from the left panel menu.

  2. Under EDI > Settings, click Logging.

  3. On the Logging screen, click New, then provide a description for the log.

  4. Click On/Off to turn on the logging function.

  5. You then need to perform the action for which you are looking to capture logging. Once complete, return to the Logging screen and click On/Off to turn off the logging. From here, you can download the file using the Download button, to the right of the On/Off button used in the previous steps.

To obtain the XQuery mapping, perform the following steps within Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations:

  1. Select Modules > EDI from the left panel menu.

  2. Under Accounts receivable, select Cross references > Customer cross references.

  3. Select the Trading Partner.

  4. Based on whether this is an Inbound or Outbound transaction, select the applicable WORKFLOW AND MAPPING. If the Default box next to the specific map is checked, we will review in the next steps. If the value is listed but Default is unchecked, click the ellipses [] and the click Download.

  5. If Default was selected in step 4, you must navigate back to Cross references in the Accounts receivable menu and select System cross references.

Again you would click Inbound or Outbound, just like in the previous step. If the Map is listed, click the ellipses […] and the click Download.

You will need to attach/provide both of these so that further investigation can be performed, and fixes can be provided.
