AMP: Email Notifications

You can sign up to receive general or TC.net notifications right within Foundry!

Product: Account Management Portal/Foundry


The Notifications submenu of the Account Management portal (AMP) within the TrueCommerce Foundry platform provides you with the means to set up notifications to be sent to the email address associated with your user account, such as product updates, new transactions, and unacknowledged transactions.

To access the Notifications section in AMP:

  1. Click the primary navigation menu icon at the top of the far left panel of Foundry to open it.

  2. In the flyout menu, click Account Management Portal (if it is not already expanded).

  3. Select Notifications from the AMP submenu.

Emails will be sent from [email protected]

Notification Options

You can enable/disable for each of the following options simply by checking the box next to them to toggle notifications for this user.

General Notifications

New Transactions

Alerts for any Transaction Type received into your Inbox from your Trading Partner

Unacknowledged Transactions

Receive an alert if an Outbound Transaction goes Unacknowledged after X amount of hours

  • Threshold for Hours set in Hours

New Transactions

As new Transactions are received into the Transaction Manager Inbox from your Trading Partners you will receive email notifications that include details on the Sender, Receiver, Transaction Type (TxnType), Document Control Number (DocCtrlNum), Creation Date, and Document Numbers for those newly received Transactions.

Unacknowledged Transactions

With the Unacknowledged Transactions option checked you will receive Email Alerts for any Inbound or Outbound Transaction that has not properly received a Functional Acknowledgement (997). The email will contain details on the Sender, Receiver, Transaction Type (TxnType), Document Control Number (DocCtrlNum), Creation Date, and Document Numbers that were unacknowledged.

You can set the threshold for the alert to be triggered by setting the number of hours (minimum of one) to wait before the TrueCommerce Network should expect a return 997

Alerts are only sent for the first unacknowledged check. You will not receive further notifications if the Transaction continues to go unacknowledged after subsequent checks.

Inbound

For Inbound Transactions Transaction Manager will check for Transaction Received into the Inbox against what was received by the TrueCommerce Network to ensure that no issues occurred between the Transaction Manager platform and the TrueCommerce Network.

Please contact TrueCommerce Support if an Inbound Transaction received an Unacknowledged Alert

Outbound

Any Outbound Transaction sent to your Trading Partner that does not receive a response back from them will trigger an alert indicating that the Transaction was sent across the network but the Trading Partner has not acknowledged it has received it.

This is a global setting and you are unable to set this at a Per-Partner Level.

If one of your Trading Partners does not return Functional Acknowledgements (997) as a general rule enabling Email Notifications will result in an alert for every Transaction your Trading Partner does not return a 997 for.
