Some countries charge Value-Added Tax (VAT) tax and the merchant is required to charge it to the customer. If you need to add tax rates for this purpose for shipments to a foreign country or countries, you may do so in the sales tax section of your Order Management System (OMS).

Navigate to Settings / Edit Sales Tax and check the box at the bottom left for "Charge Sales Tax in Other Countries". Click Next, and then click Next again.

This will take you to a page on which you will see a list of all countries other than the USA, for which you can enter any tax rate you wish.

Read the ? tooltip at the top of the page for an explanation of the columns "TS" and "OIP".

Click Finish or Next after you enter the rate to save your work.
