Product: Acumatica

Ship To Locations represent Address, Shipping ,and GL Account information for each Store or Location of a particular Customer within Acumatica that send repeated Purchase Orders (850) to your business.

A Location ID (or Code) is a unique identifier that allows you to configure that particular Store's shipping information once and then populate that data based on a Ship To Code sent on the Purchase Order (850) to identify that particular location.

Creating a Location

You will need to create a Ship To Location within a Customer Record's Location tab within Acumatica prior to them being able to be exported out

Navigate: Receivables → Customers → (Customer)

Select: Locations

Add: New Location

Configuring the Address List

Within Transaction Manager you can utilize the Address List to translate your Trading Partner's Ship-To Codes into a Location ID simply by setting the EDI Code

Navigate: Trading Partners → (Partner) → Translations → Address List

Select: Add New Item

EDI Code: The Trading Partner Ship-To Code

Bus Sys Code: Acumatica Location ID
