Product: Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

Order Types within the Customer Cross Reference allows you to customize how a specific Inbound Purchase Order (850) handles the processing when being received into Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

Order types such as SA, DS, NE, SP, KN, RE and N are automatically setup under the System Cross References

You can override those types under the Company or Customer Levels

Order Types can be configured at the Company or System Level if preferred to make these changes apply beyond just a single Trading Partner
