Product: Integrations

When integrating your Business System with Transaction Manager there are two primary types that are available to allow a streamlined connection to your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; Flat-File and Framework.

A Framework Connection is one that has direct access to your Business System through an authorized and secure connection allowing Transaction Manager to push and pull data automatically without the need for any additional middleware process.

Local & Cloud

When it comes to Framework Connections there are two primary solutions offered depending on the type of Business System your company utilizes. Local Frameworks and Cloud Frameworks.

In general - a Local framework is one that is installed locally onto machines hosted and managed by your company where you access your files or program directly through applications installed on your computer.

While a Cloud framework is one that's hosted by your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provider - such as Microsoft, Intuit, or Oracle that hosts your platform accessed through a browser.

Local Frameworks

A local framework is one that is installed directly to one of your machines (typically your server) that established a connection to Transaction Manager through the use of the TrueCommerce Integration Service allowing data to pass through.

Integration Service

When leveraging a local framework integration you will need a way to connect Transaction Manager to your local system, this is done through the Integration Service which acts as a bridge between Transaction Manager and your Business System.

The Integration Service, is a windows service that runs in the background of your server that handles the data transfer between systems as well as scheduling events for automated Importing and Exporting of Transactions.

Dynamic Link Library (DLL)

Included with the Integration Service is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) that holds the functionality and features for your Business System integration, allowing for new features to be added and updated over time.
