Product(s): Transaction Manager, Integration Service

A Dynamic Link Library (DLL) is a file on your computer that allows your system to run code. An Integration DLL is one that is designed specifically by TrueCommerce, your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/business system provider, or, potentially, a third-party software developer to run code specific to integrating your ERP with another system. In TrueCommerce's case this is most often used to allow communication between Transaction Manager and your ERP system.

An Integration DLL is built to allow passing data between your ERP and TrueCommerce's Transaction Manager so that the systems can do this automatically without needing intervention from your team or a resource to manually process everything.

Integration Service

Whenever you install the Integration Service from TrueCommerce you will have a local folder where all of the files to communicate with your ERP will be stored inside a folder called TmoIntegrationService

Default Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\True Commerce\TmoIntegrationService

Inside the TmoIntegrationService folder you will find various DLLs based on the ERP that you will need. While you do not need to know anything about them to operate the Transaction Manager system, it is helpful to know where they are located (If you encounter issues, it may be a good idea to update your DLL to the latest version).

Cloud Integrations

If you are utilizing one of TrueCommerce's cloud integrations that connects to a web-based ERP (such as Acumatica, Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or Sage X3), you will not find a local DLL installed on your machine, as TrueCommerce is hosting that DLL on its server. This means you will always be up-to-date with the latest DLL.
