Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) allows you to track the internal cost incurred with each product sold.

Cost of Goods (COGS) may be specified in the COGS field on the first page of product creation in the Order Management System (OMS), or via the Product and Attribute Imports (Products/Import).

COGS is used in the Order Profit Report (Orders / Reports / Profit Report) and Product Report (Products / Reports / Product Report) of the OMS.

COGS has no effect on the Online Store, so you may leave the default value of $0.00 if you prefer not to track this data. COGS may be defined by SKU for products with at least one attribute.
