TCU Overview

On October 24, 2023, TrueCommerce released its new Learning Management System (LMS) platform as a means to enhance the overall customer user learning experience. The new TrueCommerce University (TCU) LMS features a brand new user interface (UI), improved processes, simple navigation, and other features and functions that become evident upon login. We have, therefore, retired the previous learning platform to roll out this new one.

The instructions provided in this article will help to jump-start your learning experience!

New User Sign Up

Individual customer users who are new to TCU and never registered for an account in the past can visit TrueCommerce University to access the Login page and click the Sign Up button.

Enter your credentials in the 'Sign Up' section that displays, then submit your access request by clicking Sign Up.

IMPORTANT: The Email Address you enter will also be your TCU Username.

As a security measure, the Email Address must be associated with your business. Personal email addresses (such as gmail, yahoo, hotmail, aol) are NOT acceptable.

The Password entered must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character and be at least eight characters in length.

Make a mental note of both the Email Address and Password you enter, as you will use both to log in to TCU when your access request is approved by TrueCommerce.

You will receive a 'Thank you for your TrueCommerce University Sign Up request!' email, confirming that we received your TCU access request and stating that you will receive another response from us within one-to-two business days. At this point, your account status is considered 'Pending'.

While your account is Pending, the Dashboard will be limited when you log in to TCU using your Username (Email Address) and Password.

Meanwhile, we will cross-reference your sign up information with our records to grant you access to the appropriate learning materials within TCU. From there, you will receive a 'Welcome to TrueCommerce University!' confirmation email. You can click the link within the email to log in to TCU and view the New User | Welcome to TCU course. As a new user, you will be automatically enrolled in this course.

The TCU Dashboard for a logged-in, approved user account will include access to a scrollable dynamic Billboards section, the My Courses, Catalog, Frequently Asked Questions and Transcripts tiles, and a ribbon of Featured Courses. You can also navigate to options under the Menu in the top right of the Dashboard.

Existing Customer User Accounts and Reset Password

If you already have a TCU account, your user will automatically be available in the new TCU. However, you will need to reset your password on your first login.

IMPORTANT: Users who have not accessed TCU in the last 18 months will need to re-register their account. See the New User Signup section (above) for details.

Navigate to TrueCommerce University to access the TCU Login page and click the Forgot Password link.

You will then see the 'Forgot Password?' pop-up prompt to enter your Username/Email Address, then click the Reset Password button.

NOTE: If you are an existing user, your Username in the new TCU will be the Email Address you used when you originally signed up for a TCU account.

IMPORTANT: As a security measure, the Email Address must be associated to your business. Personal email addresses (such as gmail, yahoo, hotmail, aol) are NOT acceptable.

A pop-up message will alert you that a reset link was sent to your Email Inbox.

The email sent to your Inbox will include the following information:

Click the link within the email to navigate to the 'Reset Password' pop-up, enter and Confirm your new Password, then click the Reset Password button.

IMPORTANT: The New Password/Confirm Password entered must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character and be at least eight characters in length.

When your new password is reset successfully, a 'Password Reset Successful' message will display, allowing you to Login to TCU.

Q&A

The following table includes answers to some common user questions about accessing, logging in, and exchanging communications regarding the new TCU LMS.

QUESTION

ANSWER

Why was TCU changed?

TrueCommerce wanted to provide our customers with a more streamlined, easily navigable LMS user interface (UI) offering interactive content, resources, and knowledge checks relevant to the industry we serve and the TrueCommerce solutions our users work within, in addition to structured roadmaps designed to provide ideal paths to meaningful learning.

I am an existing TCU user. Can I still use my Username/ Password from the previous TCU LMS to access the new platform?

If you are an existing user, your Username in the new TCU will be the Email Address you used when you originally registered on the previous TCU platform.

See the Existing Customer User Accounts and Reset Password section, above, for more information and details on how to reset your Password.

Why have I been asked to provide a different email than my gmail or yahoo personal address?

As a security measure, TrueCommerce requires all users to provide a business/company email address for their account rather than a personal email (like gmail, yahoo, hotmail, or aol, for example).

If I have trouble with my TCU account, who should I contact?

Reach out to [email protected] with any challenges pertaining to your access and allow TrueCommerce one-to-two business days for a response.

When will my account be approved and who will confirm it?

Any TCU access request will be reviewed within one-to-two business days of the Sign Up submission by the TrueCommerce eLearning team.
