Error: A modal dialog box is showing in the QuickBooks user interface. Your application cannot access QuickBooks until the user dismisses the dialog box.
Issue: Whenever trying to perform an operation that has Transaction Manager and QuickBooks interact you receive the error message 'A modal dialog box is showing in the QuickBooks user interface. Your application cannot access QuickBooks until the user dismisses the dialog box.'
Reason: A popup window (Customer Card, Item Card, Defined fields, etc) is open and TrueCommerce is unable to interact with QuickBooks while this is open
Solution
Please close any additional open windows for QuickBooks and try again
Note: You may need to restart QuickBooks if the problem persists - please contact your IT support for further assistance as TrueCommerce does not maintain your QuickBooks application
