To change the order in which your products appear on the list page of your Nexternal online store, follow these steps:

1. Click on Categories in the Nexternal Order Management System (OMS).

2. Click on the name of the category in which you would like to change the order of the products.

3. Click the Change Order button.

4. Drag and Drop the products into your preferred order. (This assumes you have Drag and Drop Sort activated in your OMS, which we recommend - Settings / Boolean Options / Drag and Drop Sort. The Drag and Drop Sort option controls whether or not categories and products within categories may be sorted in the OMS via drag and drop functionality. If this option is on, sorting is accomplished via drag and drop; if this option is off, sorting is accomplished via the input of an ordinal number for each category or product.)

In the legacy standalone version of Nexternal they can be accessed through the Guided Tutorials link in the left navigation.)

Note: The Product Status Sort option (Settings / Boolean Options) automatically sorts in-stock items above out-of-stock items. If that option is on, Product Status takes precedence over the order set on this screen.
