Product: Transaction Manager

A SCAC code, or Standard Carrier Alpha Code, is a unique code used to identify transportation companies. This code is commonly four characters in length. For example, a SCAC code associated with UPS is UPSN.

If you’re not sure what the SCAC code is, your transportation company will be able to help you, or ask your Trading Partner if they have a list of current SCAC codes for your reference.

The SCAC code can be templated in Transaction Manager if it will always be the same. If you’re an integrated customer, the SCAC code can be pulled from your ERP system to Transaction Manager as long as the SCAC is present in your ERP.
