The TrueCommerce Integration Service is a locally installed application for the purpose of facilitating communication between Transaction Manager and your local network (learn more here).
If the event were to stop responding, you may need to restart the service.
IMPORTANT: Your System Administrator may restrict your ability to start/stop/restart Windows Services. contact your System Administrator if you encounter an error, as TrueCommerce is unable to grant access.
Restarting the Integration Service
The Integration Service is a continuously-operating Windows Service that runs in the background of your computer. If it has been running for a long time, you have encountered a fatal error, or you are attempting to update your integration's Dynamic Link Library (DLL) used for communicating with your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, you will often need to restart this service to properly ensure the system is ready to process your orders.
Option 1 - Using Windows Services
The quickest way to restart the Integration Service is through utilizing Windows Service to locate and restart the service.
Launching Windows Services
You can easily locate the Windows Services on most common operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11) by simply opening your Start menu and typing in 'Service'.
Navigate: Start Menu
Select: Run as administrator
Restarting Service
With the Windows Services window open, you will need to locate the Transaction Manager Integration Service.
Locate: Transaction Manager Integration Service
Right-Click: Restart
NOTE: The Service must have a Status of 'Running' in order for the Restart option to be available. If the Service is 'Stopped', refer to the Starting the Integration Service section, below.
Option 2 - Restart the Machine
If you are unable to restart the Integration Service manually, or it does not seem to solve your issue, you can restart the machine itself instead, as this will allow all Windows Services that are running to be stopped upon Shutdown and will start them again upon the next boot-up.
Stopping the Integration Service
If you need to perform an operation that requires the Integration Service to no longer be active, such as updating the Integration Service or troubleshooting the service, you can perform a full stop, which will not automatically start it again.

Stopping the Service
With the Windows Services window open, you will need to locate the Transaction Manager Integration Service.

Right-Click: Stop
Starting the Integration Service
If your Integration Service is not running due to either a manual stop of the service or a system error, you can attempt to Start the service through Windows Services.

Search: Services
Select: Run as administrator
