Product: Dynamics 365 Business Central

Issue: When attempting to perform an Import or an Export within Transaction Manager you receive the following error: '503 Service Unavailable'

Reason: Business Central is temporarily unable to process any requests from Transaction Manager due to an internal process or issue.

Solution - Retry Soon

A 503 - Service Unavailable error code is a standard Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) error received when Transaction Manager requests an action from Business Central through a Web Service (a small communication endpoint to transfer data) that is (usually) temporarily unavailable due to internal reasons such as Maintenance, No Available Resources, Overloading, or internal issue causing interruption. The error is an indication that Business Central is not ready to process any requests at this time, but should be available again soon.

Since Business Central can have many processes running at a single time it may be that the system currently needs to complete other requests before anymore can be acquired. As such typically waiting ~15-30 minutes is sufficient before trying again.

Transaction Manager does not inherently have Web Services like Business Central does - as such the 503 - Service Unavailable would always refer to the Business Central Web Service having issues

Solution - Contact System Administrator

If the issue continues to persist - you will need to contact your System Administrator in order to resolve the issue, either by restarting the Web Service or ensuring Maintenance has completed, or any other internal issue is resolved.

TrueCommerce does not have the ability to resolve a Web Service being unavailable
