Transaction Manager - Ship From Address Missing from Label

Product: Transaction Manager & UCC-128 Labels


Issue: After Printing a UCC-128 Label from an Advance Ship Notice (856) within Transaction Manager the Ship From information is blank.

Reason: The Ship From Location was either not set, blanked, or has no default.

Solution - Select a Ship From Location Dropdown


Whenever you select Print from the Outbox within Transaction Manager you will be brought to the Print Screen where you can select the Ship From Location for all of selected Labels using the dropdown menu.

Navigate: Transactions → Outbox

Select: Your Advance Ship Notices

Select: Print → Labels → Standard/Asynchronous Labels

Set: Ship From Location from Dropdown

Ship From Locations Dropdown is populated from your Ship From Locations Table located under your Trading Partner settings

Solution - Set A Ship From Default


If you prefer to have a default Ship From Location print on your labels whenever the Ship From Location dropdown under the Print Screen is blank - you can simply set a Default Ship From Location within your Trading Partner settings - allowing you to have a consistent default value which can then be overridden by the Ship From Location dropdown as needed.

Navigate: Trading Partners → (Partner) → Labels → Ship From Locations

Set: Default checkbox for the desired Default Address from the list.
