If you’re trying to import or upload a file into Transaction Manager and you’re receiving an “Array dimension exceeded supported range” error, check and/or try the following:
1. Check for extra spaces in the file. For example, if there’s a blank space in between two line items, this will throw an error. Remove the space and try importing the file again.
2. Check for potential invalid characters. Invalid characters will cause a file to error upon import, as they won’t be recognized.
3. This error could be happening because one or more of the values being imported has too many characters (or an extra space at the end of the values). If you’re importing a file that includes addresses, try shortening the addresses.
You can also try importing the file into the legacy Silverlight version of Transaction Manager to see if the file uploads. If it works in the Silverlight version, export the file and then reimport the file into Foundry.
On October 12, 2021, Microsoft will end support for Silverlight. Please be aware that the Silverlight version of Transaction Manager will be available through the end of 2021. For more information, check out this article.
