Issue: When attempting to update an existing transaction in SAP Business One, you receive the following error: 'Invalid record offset (ODBC-2010)'
Reason: The number of line items on the data being exported does not match the number of lines on the transaction being updated within SAP Business One, creating a discrepancy that prevents the update from being written.
Solution - Reprocess with Warehouse
This error most commonly occurs when a transaction in SAP Business One is modified after the Warehouse Shipping Order (940) was originally sent, making the returning Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) outdated. The line counts no longer match, which causes the update to fail.
To resolve this, transmit a fresh, corrected Warehouse Shipping Order (940) to your warehouse or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partner. This allows them to re-fulfill the order and return an updated Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) that reflects the current line count in SAP Business One.
Solution - Request the Partner Retransmit the Warehouse Shipping Advice
If the Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) contains incorrect line item data that is unrelated to any updates made within SAP Business One, you will need to contact your warehouse or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partner and request that they retransmit the Warehouse Shipping Advice (945) with the corrected line item information.
