Product: Transaction Manager

You can add additional Trading Partner Connections to the TrueCommerce Network (Tc.Net) and the Transaction Manager platform by purchasing new connections either directly within the Account Management Portal (AMP) or by contacting your Account Manager.

Each new Trading Partner Connection you purchase will have a Trading Partner Implementation Project created for it where you will be assigned an Implementation Specialist who will assist you in setting up, configuring, and testing your new Trading Partner Connection.

Trading Partner Requirements

Before you begin implementing a new Trading Partner Connection you will want to make sure you review the Onboarding Guide for your Trading Partner which will provide you with a list of their EDI IDs, Preliminary Steps, Testing Requirements, and Commonly Used EDI Transactions

These Onboarding Guides will help you prepare to ensure you have everything you need to efficiently make it through your Trading Partner Implementation Project in the shortest amount of time possible.

Purchasing a New Trading Partner

To begin Onboarding a New Trading Partner you will need to first Purchase the Trading Partner Connection through either the Account Management Portal (AMP) or by contacting your Account Manager

Account Management Portal

The quickest way to begin purchasing your new Trading Partner is to utilize the Buy Add-Ons screen within the Account Management Portal (AMP) where you can add each of your needed Trading Partners with our Add-On Portal shopping cart.

Account Manager

You may also contact your Account Manager directly to discuss the purchasing of a new Trading Partner Connection.

Implementation Project Initiation

Once your new Trading Partner Connection has been approved by your Account Manager a Trading Partner Implementation Project will be created so that you can track the progress towards your Trading Partner going live.

Configuring Your New Trading Partner

Throughout the Implementation Project you will work with your Implementation Specialist to configure your Trading Partner Connection to work with your Business Process, whether that's integrating it with a Business System such as Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or Sage X3 - or simply automating your Inbound and Outbound transactions through Turnaround.

Trading Partner Compliance Testing

Most Trading Partners require some Compliance Testing for any EDI Transaction being traded with them to ensure that that Raw EDI being passed to them matches the intended structure, format, and data requirements as listed within their EDI Specifications sheets so that their systems to process your Purchase Orders, Invoices, Shipments and Acknowledgements and other EDI Transactions.

These are primary done either through Direct Testing in which the data is sent across the network normally, or through an Online Web Portal which is a specialized interface used for handling EDI Configuration and Testing with that particular Trading Partner.

Moving to Production

After all EDI Transactions have been fully validated and tested in accordance with your Trading Partner requirements your new Trading Partner Connection will be moved into Production where you can begin sending and receiving Live Orders with your Trading Partner.
