While you're actively in an Add-On Implementation Project you may find yourself needing to either pause an Implementation Project (putting it On Hold) or Canceling the Implementation Project entirely at the request of your Company or your Trading Partner.
Pausing a Project
You are able to place an Add-On Implementation Project On Hold with the intention of continuing it at a later date.
Implications of On Hold
Implementation Projects that are On Hold are considered non-active and as such TrueCommerce and your originally assigned Implementation Specialist will prioritize Active Projects during this time - as such you will want to be aware that:
Lead Time: There may be up to a few business days lead time to reengage project resources when you are ready to proceed.
Resource Assignment: Depending on schedules and assignments, TrueCommerce cannot guarantee that the original Implementation Specialist or other resource(s) will be reassigned to your project.
Change Orders and Fees: A change order outlining additional service fees may apply if project rework is required due to the on-hold status such as rebuilding a test environment, reloading test transactions, retraining, retesting, etc. If the scope of your project has changed during the on-hold time, such as new testing and/or production requirements, additional fees may apply.
Extended Holds: If your organization is unable to reengage within 6 months, TrueCommerce reserves the right to apply a re-implementation fee to restart the project.
TrueCommerce cannot guarantee expedited services for Implementation Projects On Hold.

Taking a Project Off Hold
If you would like to take your Implementation Project off hold and begin working on it again (moving it back into an In Progress state) then you will need to contact our general Implementation Add-On mailbox so that requests can be evaluated at a first-come first-served basis.

Implementation Projects that are On Hold are considered non-active and as such depending on schedules, project assignments, and employee bandwidth TrueCommerce cannot guarantee that the original Implementation Specialist, or other project resource, will be assigned to your project during the reassignment process.
Contacting Your Implementation Specialist
Please note, that once your Implementation Project has been put On Hold your Implementation Specialist may of been assigned out to another project - as such it is recommended to email the general Implementations Add-On email mailbox as your original Implementation Specialist is not guaranteed to be able top process the request on your behalf.
Canceling a Project
Cancelling your Add-On Implementation Project will result in the Implementation Project becoming Abandoned stopping any active work and resulting in your Trading Partner Connection not being activated.
Alerting Trading Partner
If your Company has made the decision to stop the Add-On Implementation Project without your Trading Partner, then it is recommended that you reach out to your Trading Partner to inform them of the decision to ensure that all parties are aligned to no longer move forward.
Implications of Canceling
Implementation Projects that are Canceled are considered non-active and as such TrueCommerce and will be marked as Abandoned and your Implementation Specialist will no longer be an active contact for you regarding this Implementation Project
Trading Partner Notices: You will be responsible for notifying your Trading Partner on this cancelation, and if required, to stop sending EDI Transactions to you through the TrueCommerce Network (Tc.Net)
Resource Assignment: Your dedicated Implementation Specialist will no longer be assigned to the Abandoned Implementation Project and will no longer be available for assistance with this Trading Partner
Reimplementation: If in the future you wish to Implement this Trading Partner, then you will most likely find yourself needing to perform a reimplementation start the Add-On Implementation again. Consider requesting to put the Implementation Project On Hold if expecting to start again
