During the testing phase, you and your Trading Partner will begin transaction testing according to the original agreed-upon scope. The process includes:

  • Direct testing or portal-based compliance testing, as required

  • Integration testing (as applicable)

  • Updates to transaction templates during this period

  • Involvement with your 3PL (if used for shipments) to ensure all transactions are compliant

  • Testing of UCC-128 labels and Packing Lists (as applicable)

  • Certification of testing by all parties, after which a Go-Live date is set and agreed upon with your organization and your Trading Partner

If you use a 3PL for shipments, their participation in testing is essential to ensure all transactions are compliant.

Failure to involve all relevant parties (including your 3PL(s)) or to test all required transactions, UCC-128 Labels, and/or Packing Lists, may delay your scheduled Go-Live date.
